QUESTIONS/DISCUSSION POINTS

Are the Kiowa now forever responsible for taking care of dogs, since the warrior promised to take care of the puppies? Does this show a respect for animals by the Kiowa?

What do you think is the meaning or significance of the name "Real Dogs"?  Are they "real dogs" because of the way they fight?

Why is the dog singing the Ka-itsenko song? Is it important? What is the song?

Have the Kiowa neglected their duties to the dog today? Have they fallen back on the promise to take care of the dog?
